Tokyo, Japan – June 24, 2025 –
Core Micro Systems Inc. (Headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; President: Shozo Takahashi) has entered into a strategic solution partnership with Parallel Works, a U.S.-based provider of hybrid and multicloud computing control planes designed to seamlessly provision, manage, and share high-performance computing (HPC) resources across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments for compute-intensive applications and AI workloads.
Through this partnership, Core Micro Systems will integrate Parallel Works' ACTIVATE platform with its own advanced compute, storage, cloud, and hybrid cloud integration technologies. The goal is to significantly simplify and streamline access to compute resources in Japan’s HPC/AI market, while accelerating the delivery of appliance-based services for AI/HPC platform business models built on data center infrastructure.
Specifically:
For enterprise and engineering customers, Core Micro Systems will deliver ACTIVATE through AI/HPC appliances based on its micro data center architecture.
For academic and data center customers, ACTIVATE will be integrated into Core Micro Systems' modular data center architecture, targeting edge, grid, and multicloud AI/HPC platforms.
Cloud connectivity will include: OCI, Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud, and domestic/academic clouds via SINET.
