SC23

During the week of November 12th, PW members traveled to Denver for SC23, the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis. We had the opportunity to share our work and meet with high-profile customers in the government, commercial, and higher education spaces.

Our CEO, Mike Wilde, and Director of Engineering, Michael McQuade, co-presented with Unni Kirandumkara of GDIT on the topic Hybrid Multi-Cloud HPC: Powering AI/ML Workflows. They presented at the Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud booths. The presentation covered the major pain points for research enterprises; how our middleware platform serves as a hybrid multi-cloud solution for HPC; and the key benefits of our platform, including its simplicity and award-winning AI/ML integration.

We were excited to speak with customers about upcoming features for their on-premises environments, including our interactive sessions capabilities for both on-premises and cloud HPC.

Senior Application Engineer Alvaro Vidal Torreira, Software Engineer Eric Garcia, and other PW employees gave demos to potential customers on the exhibition floor.

Thank you to Unni Kirandumkara and GDIT for sharing their booth with us and making SC possible!

Recent Changes

We’ve added two new storage options to the platform's Storage page: Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) and Google Filestore. You can find more info about these options on our user guide page: Configuring Storage.

We've added a new Cost module to the Sessions tab of the resource configuration page.

We've also updated API key generation on the platform for greater security. For users, you can now create new randomly generated API keys by navigating to Account > Authentication > Add API Key. For administrators, you can set the maximum number of days an API key is valid by navigating to Admin > Platform Settings > Enforce Maximum API Keys TTL.
